(embarrassing video) “My Godiva Room Goof Up…”

By JP Maroney | September 4, 2008

Don’t let this happen to you… I’m embarrassed to admit it!

Hey Friend,

In this latest video, I reveal one of my dumber (and costly) mistakes…

It’s my “shortest” video yet — but with 3 GREAT lessons!

Watch it now:

This one’s a doozy!

    Hi JP,
sadly you have reminded me of a similar event which happened to me. In the early eighties I had an idea to build a hybrid engine, and set about getting finance but I got knocked back by the banks. Disheartened I tried building it like the 57 chevy. about 2 months before I finished someone else built one similar and sold the rights to Toyota for a LOT of money, but I am not bitter, onwards and upwards. Looking back means you can not see where you are going.
Thank you for the video I enjoyed it

I think placing a 4 yr old in a room with a bowl of chocolates is actually a pretty predictable scenario :) -speaking from experience as mom of 8.

If I really pushed every idea I had that I thought was great, I’d never have time to be a good mom-my most important job. Yes I have to keep pressing forward and work as hard as possible in the time available but choosing your battles or “chosen” ideas and their timing is almost even more critical. I’m looking forward with anticipation to the time when my children are all school aged and I have a little more time and flexibility in pursuing my business and writing interests but I’m not waiting- just plugging forward and when the timing is right, Watch Out!
